About
What does Native Mozcean mean?

Native represents the origins of Rahui, the founder and owner of the company.
Mozcean is a contraction of Moorea, nicknamed Moz, and Ocean.
When spoken aloud, Native Mozcean sounds like "Native Motion," symbolizing a native movement encouraging locals to start their own businesses.

The company was established in 2024 by Rahui, following seven years of experience as a guide and captain for various companies across the islands of Moorea and Tahiti. Drawing on the best aspects of these experiences, Rahui created Native Mozcean.

The local captain will guide you through the lagoon and ocean, sharing his knowledge about the island, particularly its marine wildlife, while allowing you to feel the Polynesian Mana.
The core values of Native Mozcean are sharing, exchange, respect, and good vibes.

Who am I?
I am Rahui, a child of the fenua, and I grew up by the water, spending my childhood surfing, fishing, and paddling va'a (traditional Polynesian canoe).
My father, a lover of the marine environment and fishing, quickly passed on his passions to me.

I decided to create my business, Native Mozcean, to share my knowledge, culture, and passions while ensuring respect for the wildlife and natural environment of my island.
